Programs + Events
This program is designed to help neighbors in Moore County do simple tasks helping those in need or simply to help a neighbor. Tasks include mowing a yard, raking pine straw, picking up pine cones, or delivering brownies to a friend.
These are volunteers, not professionals, so they are limited in the number of tasks that they can do each week. In exchange, the volunteers ask for donations to be made to Linden Lodge for each completed task. Proceeds will go toward their resident activity fund, so they can enjoy activities such as bowling, going to see a movie, or dining out at a restaurant.

Linden Lodge hosts many events during the year which are crucial to our fundraising endeavors. One popular one is the Linden Lodge Dog Dash which brings out multiple sponsors and vendors. The event had over 100 dogs and their owners that walk a festive path throughout the Village of Pinehurst. Sponsors, vendors, and the dog participants donate proceeds to Linden Lodge to support our efforts to help the mentally ill in our group home setting.
Another big event is called “Shred It” which takes place at Linden Lodge. This event allows businesses and individuals to bring all items that need to be shredded for a donation to our cause. The event raises much needed funds to support our operations and activities throughout the year.
